This week we’re bringing you 4 quick healthy snacks from Wendy and Jess of Food Haven Made Easy, an online resource for nutritious living. The pair accepted a challenge to eat healthy for an entire week for $50 and they prepared some of these delicious treats.

 

Hearty Oatmeal

½ cup of cooked oatmeal, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, ½ sliced banana

3/4 cup of Greek yogurt layered with sliced fruit

174 calories, 8g fat, 25g carbs, 17g sugar, 4g protein

1 tablespoon of peanut butter and a thinly sliced apple

 

Frozen Banana “Nice Cream”
110 calories, 0g fat, 30g carbs, 19g sugar, 1g protein

1 chopped frozen banana blended until it reaches a smooth creamy consistency.
