Danielle Brooks Brings “Taystee” to Lane Bryant
Actress Danielle Brooks, well known for her role as Taystee on Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, now brings that bold and sassy character to Lane Bryant as the face for designer, Christian Siriano’s latest collection.
Christian Siriano for Lane Bryant features tops, skirts, and dresses in colorful candy shades and prints in sizes 14-28.
Brooks, who wore a custom Siriano design last year at the Emmy Awards show, spoke with People about being handpicked for the campaign.
“It was fun to be surrounded by all these sexy men holding my dress and tying my shoes…[the clothes] they make you feel sexy, like everyone has their eyes on you. It’s like these are the clothes you want to wear when you walk down the street and want to make heads turn.”
