Esperanza Spalding Slays As Sheer Cover Girl

Grammy award-winning bassist, Esperanza Spalding slays as the first-ever cover girl of Sheer–a quarterly fashion and style spin-off of the Village Voice. 

Spalding, who recently returned to music after a three year hiatus, sat down with editor Olivia Fleming to discuss her latest album, break from music, and diverse style.

Emily’s D + Evolution is Spalding’s fifth solo album.
